Professor Sc.D. Tsvetana Kamenova

Graduate of Sofia University’s Law Faculty, received her PhD in 1979 and in the same year began her career in the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS), Institute of State and Law. She was a scientific secretary of public sciences at BAS, secretary of BAS’s general assembly, Dean of Plovdiv University’s Law Faculty and director of the Institute of State and Law at BAS. She has specialized in Max Planck Institutes in Munich and Hamburg, in the Institute of Law Sciences at London University and in Paris University 10 “Panthéon-Assas”. In 2005 prof. Kamenova was elected by the UN General Assembly as a judge in the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia and between 2006 and 2009 she was a member of the trial chamber in the “Milutinovic and others” case. She took part in the work of various international organizations: UNIDROIT, UNCITRAL, WIPO etc. She thought lectures on Copyright law, Private international law, Human rights law, International law and International humanitarian law. She is author or co-author of 20 books and more than 120 articles published in Bulgaria and abroad.

Prof. Ing. Stefan Stefanov, PhD

He is an engineer of technical cybernetics at Dresden Technical University. Received his PhD in Law in 1984 from the Humboldt University of Berlin. In 1985 he became an assistant professor in the Department of Invention and Patent-Licensing activity. In 1991 he became an associated professor of Patent Law and director of the same department. In 2014 he became a professor in the Department of Legal and Humanitarian Sciences in Sofia Technical University’s Economic Faculty. Until 2017 he was Dean of Sofia Technical University’s Faculty of German Engineering Training and Industrial Management. He is a guest lecturer in Plovdiv University and the University of National and World Economy, as well as in the universities of Luxembourg, Brawnschweig, Hanover, Essen and Magdeburg. He has specialized in Max Planck Institute of Intellectual Property and Competition Law in Munich. He is a registered representative of Industrial property at the Bulgarian Patent office, the European Patent Office in Munich and the European Trade Mark and Design office in Alicante.

Dimitar Dekov

He is founder and member of the managing board of the Association for legal aid for consumers. Has a PhD in Law. He has specialized in the fields of Private international law and Consumers Law. He has a long professional experience in the fields of the Civil law, Contract law, International law and Consumers Law. He has graduated from the Plovdiv University’s Law Faculty in 2004.

Madlen Kavrakova

She is founder and member of the managing board of the Association for legal aid for consumers. She has a long professional experience in the fields of the Civil law, Contract law and Consumers Law. She has graduated from the Plovdiv University’s Law Faculty.

Stoyan Memtsov

He is a well-established specialist in Civil law, Trade law and Consumers law. Part of the Association for legal aid for consumers since June 2013. Fluent in English and French languages. Graduated from the Plovdiv University’s Law Faculty in 2009.
